QUEM CRIOU O GEOGEBRA?

Estamos usando um software de geometria dinâmica nas aulas de matemática. Vamos conhecer um pouco mais sobre o criador dessa programa. O GeoGebra é um programa livre de geometria dinâmica criado por Markus Hohenwarter para ser utilizado em ambiente de sala de aula.

O texto a seguir foi escrito pelo criador do programa. Os professores de inglês ajudarão os alunos que participam desse projeto a traduzir essa mensagem. Depois, escreveremos algumas cartas para ele saber que sua invenção chegou até nós.

I have created GeoGebra in 2001/2 during my master's thesis project and later PhD thesis in Mathematics Education at the University of Salzburg, Austria. From 2006-2008, my work was supported by an NSF Math & Science Partnership project of Florida Atlantic University and Broward County Schools in Florida. Today, I am continuing to lead the GeoGebra project at the Florida Center for Research in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Education (FCR-STEM) at Florida State University in Tallahassee, USA.
